Help For Youths

The Youth Upliftment Through Employment (YUTE) Programme, through the partnership of eMedia Interactive Ltd, led by president and CEO Tyrone Wilson, recently exposed interns to real-work opportunities, such as being part of the production team for the local reality TV show, The Innovators.

“eMedia has a culture of nurturing and developing talent in all areas of creativity,” said Wilson. “This is what led us to establish iCreate – our creative training arm of the business. Through this, we were able to partner with YUTE and unlock the potential of several marginalisd youths. They are very talented and only need a vehicle to express that creativity. I’m happy that eMedia became one of those vehicles,” Wilson added.

Since the start of the initiative, three young persons have been granted full-time employment at eMedia, and more than 15 have received freelance opportunities.
