The MultiCare Youth Foundation (MYF) was proud and happy to note in September 2022, that our dynamic and multifaceted Chairman Joseph M. Matalon had been appointed Chairman of the International Youth Foundation (IYF), a global body geared to empowering young people.

MYF YUTE Work II
MYF YUTE Work II – Increasing Youth Resilience and Employability supports 60 at risk youth from Kingston, St. Andrew and St. Catherine through life and employability skills training, mentorship, vocational certification, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and internships. Funded by PriceSmart Foundation, the project aims to strengthen resilience and create sustainable pathways to employment, education and positive community participation.
Scotiabank Teach to Transform
The Scotiabank Teach to Transform Project strengthens the literacy, life and employability skills of 40 students at Haile Selassie High School while equipping six teachers with evidence-based literacy intervention strategies. The year-long initiative is funded by the Scotiabank Foundation and implemented by The MYF and the CLBL Foundation through Foundations for Change.

MYF’s PriceSmart YUTE Project positively impacts 60 urban youth at risk of crime, violence, or victimisation. The initiative collaborates with PriceSmart Foundation, PriceSmart Jamaica and MYF’s Youth Upliftment Through Employment (YUTE) program.
